The Danish international has had a hard time impressing since moving to San Siro last January and is not in any manager's plans Antonio Conte.
He has been linked to a move to Paris Saint-Germain, with a reunion with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino reportedly planned before the Argentine's expected move to the Parc des Princes dugout.
However, it appears that West Ham boss David Moyes would like to bring the Inter midfielder back to the English Premier League and it remains to be seen whether this can actually happen.
Eriksen has also been routinely associated with Arsenal and while it may be impossible to bridge the north London divide, joining the Hammers should and would not be a problem.
West Ham have struggled with regular scoring chances so far this season and they could take on a midfielder in the form of the Dane.
While the 28-year-old has only met once and assisted in 25 Serie A games since then, when he joined Inter, he had no problem helping the Hammers thrive in the final third.
Conte hardly played Eriksen in his favorite position due to his formation and style of play, and that saw the former Spurs star fight. West Ham will land a huge player if Eriksen makes a deal through and pulling such a move off could increase their chances of getting into the top six.
