It’s the most wonderful time of the year for fantasy football fans as the playoffs begin in earnest. If you’re one of the lucky managers in contention for your championship, we have a present for you. Our Week 14 fantasy football WR rankings highlight the WR must starts, sleepers, and busts as you prepare for the biggest game of your fantasy football year so far.

What to keep in mind heading into Week 14 and searching for the best fantasy football wide receiver

With all bye weeks complete, there is no need for any anxious, last-minute trawling of the waiver wire trying to find a replacement for your star wide receiver. After two weeks of unusual scheduling, there will hopefully be no need to meticulously plan your lineup around unusual kick off days and times either.

Thursday Night Football this week features a clash between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams. If you intend to start players from either team, ensure your line up is set prior to kick off at 8:20 pm ET. Patriots wide receiver Jacobi Meyers slips in our fantasy WR rankings for Week 14 because the Rams defense has allowed just 17.4 fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position.

The importance of the injury report and its impact on our fantasy WR rankings

As always, injuries to your wide receiver room can derail a championship bid, so be sure to keep a close eye on the injury report. Detroit Lions WR Kenny Golladay missed Week 13, and after missing several weeks, there will be question marks over whether he can be trusted. As such, he has been left out of these Week 14 fantasy WR rankings.

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore suffered what looked like a serious injury in Week 12; however, further examination provided hope that it might not be season-ending. The Panthers have a Week 13 bye, and there is a chance that Moore plays in Week 14. His standing in these fantasy WR rankings represents the uncertainty over his chances of a return.

Keenan Allen tops the top 5 fantasy WR rankings

1) Keenan Allen, LAC vs ATL

2) Davante Adams, GB @ DET

3) D.K. Metcalf, SEA vs NYJ

4) Tyreek Hill, KC @ MIA

5) Tyler Lockett, SEA vs NYJ

Keenan Allen makes his way to the top of the Week 14 fantasy WR rankings for a multitude of reasons.

Firstly, he is a must-start WR this week because of his sheer volume of targets that Allen commands in this Los Angeles Chargers offense. Allen leads the NFL in targets and receptions and, as a result, is averaging the fourth-most fantasy points per game this season.

Secondly, he has a prime matchup in Week 14 against a porous Atlanta Falcons defense. They’ve allowed 28.2 fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position, which gives Allen an incredible opportunity to score big points for your team this week.

Davante Adams has become a consistent fixture in our fantasy WR rankings, and Week 14 is no different. Adams leads all wide receivers with 25.4 fantasy points per game as a result of racking up 908 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in just nine games prior to Week 13.

Hill, Metcalf, and Lockett complete the top 5 fantasy WR rankings for Week 14

Only Tyreek Hill has more fantasy points this season than Adams. Hill faces a Miami Dolphins defense that has allowed over 2000 receiving yards to the wide receiver position, and Hill should score highly again because of that.

The Seattle Seahawks wide receiving duo of D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett have also become must start fantasy WR assets because of the increased potency of Rusell Wilson in the passing game. Metcalf is separating himself from Lockett in the latter stages of the season with an additional point per game, but they both remain firmly planted near at the top of our fantasy WR rankings.

They have a fantastic matchup against a New York Jets defense that has allowed over 25 fantasy points per game.

Stefon Diggs rounds out tier 1 WR rankings

6) Stefon Diggs, BUF vs PIT

7) Allen Robinson, CHI vs HOU

8) A.J. Brown, TEN @ JAX

9) Adam Thielen, MIN @ TB

10) Chris Godwin, TB vs MIN

After having five straight games with double-digit fantasy points, the last five weeks have been less fruitful for Stefon Diggs. He has three single-digit scores in the last five, including a season-low 3.9 points against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12. Despite this, he remains one of the most consistent receivers in the NFL as per Phillip Caldwell’s Fantasy Football Consistency Score metric.

Diggs may be consistent, but A.J. Brown continues to impress. Due to his recent performance against the Indianapolis Colts and a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he works his way into the top of our fantasy WR rankings for Week 14. The Jaguars have given up the fifth-most fantasy points to the wide receiver position giving Brown an incredible opportunity to score a playoff winning amount of points for your team. Therefore, Brown is a must-start WR this week.

Minnesota Vikings @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers should be a fantasy bonanza

The game between the Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers should be a high scoring contest both on the field and for your fantasy team. Both teams have given up large numbers of fantasy points to the wide receiver position, with the Vikings giving up the third most and the Buccaneers giving up the ninth most per game.

Despite the emergence of rookie Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen continues to be heavily targeted in the Vikings passing game. In addition, his success in the red zone makes him a must-start WR most weeks, and this week is no different.

Chris Godwin gets into the top 10 of our fantasy WR rankings for Week 14 over teammate Mike Evans due to his higher points per game average. Godwin is simply a more reliable pair of hands as he has hauled in 81.7 percent of his targets.
